Grinding to Remove Curled Joints
Curled joints must be stabilized prior to any grinding or joint repair. If the foundation slabs are deflecting and the joint is not stabilized, the grinding or joint repairs will prematurely fail.
After a curled concrete joint has been stabilized it should be ground to reduce the curl, providing undetectable fork truck travel. The ground area can then be polished with a series of polishing blades to ensure a good blend with the adjacent concrete.
Grinding improves the rideabliity and longevity of the slab.
